“After five years of preparation, the German Medical Association's parliament, the 121st German Medical Congress, took place in Erfurt from 08 to 11 May 2018. In addition to the opening in the new Steigerwald Stadium, Messe Erfurt was the main venue for the plenary with around 800 participants, including over 80 international guests and more than 70 journalists.
The enhanced technical requirements for our event, including completely digital operations, were met perfectly by Messe Erfurt's modern fibre-optic technology.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff were also highly praised by our participants, as was the flexibility of all the service providers. The rooms in the Congress Center, the flexibility of the room layout and the additional use of the foyers perfectly flanked our event in the exhibition hall, which was also prepared according to our wishes, and made the event possible in the first place.
The support we receive from a project manager as a contact person has also proved to be very effective. We can definitely recommend the Messe as a venue.”
