Messe Erfurt - nice and central

Messe Erfurt represents for a dynamic exhibition site in a central location. Erfurt is easily reached from all key cities in Germany. Size-wise, Erfurt is the second-largest exhibition site in the new German states.

The campus unites Hall 1 (multi-purpose hall), two exhibition halls and the Congress Center under a single roof, thus offering variable options for a variety of events. Organisers, exhibitors and visitors alike appreciate the high degree of functionality offered by the halls and conference areas, short routes as well as the pleasantly bright and spatious atmosphere.

Business areas

Trade fairs and exhibitions

The contemporarily functional exhibition halls offer plenty of space for trade and consumer fairs. The suitable infrastructure covering exhibitor parking through organisation offices to ground-level vehicle access for uncomplicated set-up and removal is supplemented by competent service.

Conferences and seminars

Messe Erfurt offers the very best conditions for conferences with trade exhibitions, seminars, receptions and evening events. Seven partitionable rooms with full daylight can accommodate more than 1,600 people with the multi-purpose hall catering for another 5,200. Add to this the spacious foyers for plenty of space for visitor services.

Events and concerts

The versatile multi-purpose hall is one of the key locations for concert events in Germany. Up to 12,000 guests can attend sporting events, concerts or TV productions availing of first-class technical facilities.

Staging trade fairs

We see ourselves as a location with a role as a driving force: There are a number of significant socio-political issues that go into the trade fairs we put on – opportunities for central and eastern Germany,
creating networks within the commercial world, generating marketing for the region. As a result, Erfurt becomes a beacon.

Targeting the future:

While newcomers and experts convene at the Rapid.Tech conference and trade fair to discuss the latest trends in generative manufacturing technology, the most recent technology highlight in the calendar, FabCon 3.D, aims to appeal to the growing community of fans of 3D printing. Messe Erfurt is the only venue that illustrates the industrial and private applications of this technology.

Putting policy into practice:

Events such as Wind.Energy – a Conference for Central Germany, Thuringia Investors’ Day and the Thuringia Real Estate Conference are aimed at consolid ating networks within the local economy and marketing Thuringia as a business location.

Focussing on the consumer:

The consumer fairs are a major attraction for thousands of visitors from all over central Germany. Events such as the Automobilmesse (Car Show), Riding, Hunting, Fishing, Green Days of Thuringia agricultural show, the sport.aktiv sports and outdoor activities exhibition, and Erlebniswelt Modellbau
(World of Models) are packed with exciting displays and visitor experiences.
